Cookie Policy

This page explains the cookies and similar tools we use on cheerfulchildrentoys.com, and how you can control them.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small files that a website saves on your phone, tablet or computer. "Similar tools" include pixels, tags and local storage. They do similar jobs. In this policy, we call them all "cookies".

Some cookies are needed to make the website work. Others help us understand how the site is used, or show you our ads on Facebook and Instagram.

Your choices

When you first visit our website, a banner asks which cookies you're happy with. You can choose Accept, Decline or Manage.

  • Essential cookies are always on. The shop can't work without them.
  • Analytics and marketing cookies are only used if you say yes.
  • You can change your mind at any time. Click "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page.

Saying no won't stop you shopping with us. You may still see our ads on other websites, but they won't be based on what you did on our site.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, your basket and checkout may not work.

Cookie Set by What it does How long it lasts
_fbp, _fbc Meta (Facebook and Instagram) The Meta pixel. Tells Meta when you view a product, add to basket or buy, so Meta can show our ads to the right people and tell us which ads work. __kla_id Klaviyo Remembers if you've already signed up, so we don't keep showing you the pop-up. If you're on our email list, it links your visits to your email address, so we can send emails that match what you looked at (for example, a reminder about your basket). Up to 2 years

Cookie names and how long they last are set by the companies above and can change. If you decline a type of cookie, we don't use it.
